Our Putney vet practice is situated on Lower Richmond Road. The surgery has been serving the local community of Putney since 2001, and it became part of the Goddard Veterinary Group in 2006. Here you will find our team of welcoming and dedicated team on hand to take care of all your veterinary needs. We pride ourselves on providing the highest standard of care for your pet.

Parking and Accessibility

If you are visiting our Putney practice via car, you will find Pay and Display parking available on the residential streets close to the surgery. Alternatively, the nearest tube stations are Putney Bridge, and Putney Overground. If you are travelling via bus, the No. 22, 265, 435 all make stops seconds away from the practice.

Please note this practice is located within the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ).

What to do in the Event of an Emergency

In the event of an emergency, or if your pet is unwell outside the practice hours, we have an emergency vet hospital that can provide urgent assistance. Our veterinary hospitals are open 365 days of the year, 24 hours a day. The closest hospital to our Putney practice is the Stone Lion Veterinary Hospital. They can be contacted at 020 8946 4228. For your peace of mind, and continuity of care, your pet’s medical history is accessible from all of our branches, at any time.

Rhiannon qualified from the University of Nottingham and worked in the beautiful county of Cornwall before joining the Goddard Group in 2020. She promotes a holistic approach to animal care, with a special interest in clinical nutrition and maintaining the health of our pets as they grow older. Outside of the clinic, Rhiannon enjoys horse riding and spending time with her two British Blue cats.

Lisa received her veterinary degree in South Africa in 2010. She worked as a small animal veterinarian in Johannesburg, South Africa for 8 years before moving to the UK with her husband and daughter. Lisa joined the Goddard Group in 2019 and moved to the Putney surgery in 2022. In her free time, Lisa enjoys baking, reading and going for long walks.

Anthea joined the team at Putney  in 2022 having moved to the UK from Australia in 2019.  Anthea is now pursuing her dream of working with animals by undertaking a Bachelors in Veterinary Nursing at university, whilst using her newly acquired knowledge looking after the clients and patients at the Putney branch. Her special interests are minor surgery and exotic animals,  and she has a Dwarf Lop of her own named Bruce who enjoys biting holes into any piece of clothing that lies in his wake.

Hafsah joined the Goddard Group in 2022,  She is a second year student at Roehampton University, studying a Bachelors degree in Zoology, and has previously studied level 3 Animal Management in CANDI. Hafsah is hoping to gain knowledge and experience to build her career in animal welfare and conservation and combine her nursing experience with this. Outside of work and university she enjoys the performing arts, fine arts and volunteering in Osteology.

Lola joined the team at Putney in 2022.  She is originally from Australia and has always been passionate about animal care and welfare. Lola lived and worked as a professional ballet dancer in Europe for six  years and during that time volunteered in animal shelters and fostered many cats along the way. She is pleased to be starting a new life in London and is looking forward to her next career path working with the team at Putney.

Caroline has over 20 years experience working in managerial roles within the veterinary and hospitality industries, and she joined the Goddard Veterinary Group in 2019. Caroline has a passion for developing business and supporting individuals and teams to maximise their own potential. Outside of work creativity is her main focus with stained glass, print making, painting and drawing on the list of many hobbies. Caroline lives in West London and she enjoys the energy of the city but also the opportunity just to relax with her two adorable cats who are credited for her move into the veterinary industry.
