Meet Dennis - Putney's Pet of the Month

Dennis was born on the 16th May 2014 in Leeds and was brought home to his new family in Putney during August 2014.

Dennis loves swimming! It doesn’t matter where or when, whether it is in his paddling pool or in his water bowl, he’ll try to swim anywhere!

Toys are another big love in Dennis’ life, although, they don’t tend to last very long. After 10 minutes of getting a new toy, it is destroyed and there is usually no evidence of it left.

This has caused him and his owners some problems! He had to have an operation to remove a tennis ball that got stuck in his intestines. He was rushed to the Goddard Veterinary Hospital in Wimbledon to have his surgery and he had to have regular check up appointments at the Putney branch to make sure he was recovering well.

Dennis will not leave you alone until he has licked your face clean and he will get into a total frenzy when he wants a cuddle. He won’t leave you alone until he gets one - this is one of the reasons why Keeshonds are known as the Velcro dog, they just stick to you!

His favourite new game is jumping. Whether it’s up on the kitchen table, on the kitchen stools or even the kitchen counters, he doesn’t seem to like being on the floor!
